Session at the sugar shack
Sugar shack offer a rustic location that I love to shoot. All the textures and odors (yes, maple sirop does smell good) is awesome. It is all so typical from Quebec (and there is a lot of these shack here in Beauce). Furthermore, we are in the high season. Hopefully you’ll get the chance to visit one to take advantage of all that good maple sirup . 😉
So, Vicky and I went to a nice sugar shack in St-Georges de Beauce to do a winter phoptography portrait session. We did really choose the wrong day. We can’t see it on the pictures, but it was around minus 30. Gosh! It wasn’t easy! At least there was some snow, as we didn’t get much this winter. We also took a couple shots in downtown St-Georges, near an old building.
I’ve met Vicky a long time ago when I was in the cadets. This is super because I met a lot of people from around Quebec and Canada there. As I’m new in Beauce now, the only people I knew when I get here were from the cadets. It was then super nice to see her again and take her portrait. 🙂
So this is smiley Vicky!
